Date: 17th November 2021
It’s the festive time of year and to celebrate, we have teamed up with wellbeing specialists NAPA, to provide a fantastic new and engaging cocktail competition for care home residents.
Together we are challenging care homes to host a cocktail party, whilst at the same time encouraging residents to participate through designing their own fabulous cocktail.
To enter, residents can draw, paint, or make their cocktail and photograph it, and then email the designs to competitions@lakelanddairies.com by midnight on the 3rd December 2021

Jean Cattanach, marketing controller at Lakeland Dairies comments:
‘As a business we are always striven to help enrich the lives of care home residents. We continue do this through the goodness of milk via our professional dairy portfolio of milk, cream, butter, and milk powders which are ideal for fortification, and also by partnering with wellbeing experts such as NAPA. Together we are bringing a bit of joy and fun to activities over the Christmas period. We wish all residents who enter the competition the best of luck!”
And to help care home residents create the best cocktail, Lakeland Dairies have offered up their top three cocktail designing tips!
• Consider providing a printed cocktail glass template for residents to use
• Try turning the cocktail designs into reality by making them
• Remember to give your cocktail design a name
The winning entry will receive a Lakeland Dairies activity pack including a case of delicious Millac Gold Double, a cocktail shaker and a Relish Aqua Paint set. And every entry will receive a handy roll of Millac piping bags!
Millac Gold Double is made with added vitamin D, and real dairy cream from Lakeland Dairies’ family farms across the island of Ireland. Popular in the care sector due to its versatility, professional performance, and great taste, it makes the perfect creamy base for cocktails.
