Homemade Scones, Jam & Cream

Serves: 10
Ingredients
- 500ml Millac Whipping Dairy Cream
- 50g Lakeland Dairies Butter
- 150ml Viva Whole Milk
- 225g self raising flour
- 8g baking powder
- 30g caster sugar
- 70g sultanas
- pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- jam (to serve)
Method
Sieve the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl.
Add the sugar and Lakeland Dairies Butter and mix to a breadcrumb consistency.
Make a well and add the Viva Whole Milk slowly, then the sultanas.
Once a smooth dough is formed allow to rest for 10 minutes.
Roll out on a floured surface and cut your 10 scones.
Brush with egg wash and bake for 15 minutes in a hot oven, 180˚C.
Allow to cool slightly and serve with jam and whipped Millac Dairy Whipping Cream.
