Bacon & Cabbage

Serves: 12
Ingredients
- 2kg boiled bacon
- 500g Hispi cabbage
- 1000ml Millac Gold
- 100g diced white onions
- 10g diced leeks
- 10g chopped chives
- 100g Lakeland Dairies Butter
- sea salt
- milled black pepper
Method
Boil the bacon depending on size, once cooked set aside to rest.
Cut the Hispi cabbage and cook in boiling slated water then drain well.
Melt the Lakeland Dairies Butter in a pan and cook the leeks and onions without colour.
Add the Millac Gold and reduce, add teh chives and correct the seasoning.
Serve the boiled bacon and cabbage with the leek and chive sauce.
