Tuna & Sweetcorn Pasta
Serves: 10
Ingredients
- 800ml Millac Milk Powder - Classic, Half-fat or Value, prepared according to directions
- 700g dried penne pasta
- 5 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 80g plain flour
- 200g mature half fat Cheddar cheese, grated
- 3 x 185g cans of tuna in brine, drained
- 1 x 325g can of sweetcorn, drained
- freshly ground black pepper
Method
Cook the pasta according to pack instructions (approx. 10 mins). Drain well.
Heat the oil in a medium pan and add the flour stirring constantly, cook for 1 minute on a low heat.
Slowly add the prepared Half Fat Millac, stirring to prevent any lumps.
Simmer and stir for 3-4 minutes, until the sauce has thickened, then add the cheese and allow it to melt, off the heat.
Season with black pepper.
Toss the drained sweetcorn and tuna flakes with the cooked pasta and stir in the cheese sauce.
Serve with a green salad.
