Cream of White Onion Soup with Stilton Bon Bon

Serves: 12

Ingredients

  • 600ml Millac Gold
  • 1000ml vegetable stock
  • 1200g sliced white onions
  • 150g Stilton
  • 100g Lakeland Dairies Butter
  • 100g flour
  • sea salt
  • milled black pepper

Method

Melt the Lakeland Dairies Butter in a pan and cook the onions gently without colouring them

Add the flour and cook out

Pour in the stock gradually

Finish with the Millac Gold and season to taste

Make the Stilton bon bons by simply rolling the stilton into balls and serve with the soup
